I was an exchange student in Columbus, Ohio at that time, and had just turned eighteen three weeks earlier. As I had missed out on Bob's European tour in the summer (I left for the US the day before the Loreley show), I was very glad that I got to see Bob Dylan in Cincinnati. I remember sitting way up in the Music Hall, enjoying the "new" songs I loved so much, and not even knowing all the "old" songs which I know very well by now. Unfortunately the only circulating recording of this unforgettable concert has a sound quality which is not as brilliant as the quality of other fine recordings from that fall tour. |
